Indigo Ellis and Jarran Cobb, bring an electrifying blend of Indigenous storytelling and music mastery, and the dynamic musical duo are lighting up the Perth music scene. Known for their engaging acoustic performances across a variety of venues, they bring an upbeat energy that consistently resonates with audiences. Indigo Ellis is a powerhouse vocalist whose soulful performances have earned her two WA Music Awards and two NAIDOC Music Awards for her original composition Home which beautifully incorporates Noongar language. She has performed at prestigious events like Telethon, Perth Wildcats’ Indigenous round, the World Indigenous Tourism Summit, and the groundbreaking Noongar Opera Wundig wer Wilura with the West Australian Opera.
Jarran Cobb complements Indigo’s talent with his seasoned expertise as a guitarist and vocalist. Jarran, was inspired by The Beatles, Ricky Nelson and he co-founded The Heatwaves, a band known for its vintage sound and regular gigs across Perth. Together, Indigo and Jarran create a dynamic acoustic sound that celebrates Indigenous culture while advocating for mental health and inclusivity.
Indigo, a 2024 NAIDOC Perth Youth of the Year awardee and WA Youth Awards finalist, is also a passionate vocal coach, mentoring young artists.
